Xerox Unveils A Printing Program To Make Printing In Color For Real Estate Professionals Affordable!
If you are a Real Estate Professional, you are aware there are heavy costs associated with printing! There are MLS listings you print for clients, flyers for boxes and all the paperwork at a closing. Xerox has recently introduced a program designed to make printing affordable and it is imperative for Real Estate Professionals to be informed in order to remain competitive.
If you take a typical flyer, which has a few pictures of a house as well as your logo and other color on the page, you will average at least 50% coverage on this print. (Coverage is defined as the amount of ink that covers the page. If you fold a piece of paper in half, for example, and there is about that much color on the whole page… that would be 50% coverage. If the whole page were covered, that would be 100%.) Manufacturers rate cost using an industry average of 20% coverage. This is bad news for graphic intensive printing done by your Real Estate agents! If you are doing a typical flyer at 50%, you are going to be paying 2 and 1/2 times more than the manufacturer’s rated pricing scheme. A typical color laser is rated at about $.12/color page. For you, this will mean it is going to cost $.30/color page because they are assuming 20% and you are at 50%.
This is where the good news comes in. Xerox has come up with a program which can get your printing down to $.07/page regardless of your coverage. This means you can put in a lot more color and not pay a penny more. If you printed 1,500 color pages per month and had 50% coverage on average, you would spend $16,200 over 3 years time on just your color prints. With this program, if you include the printer’s price, you would spend $7,500. Just the prints would be $4,500. Saving over 50% in a competitive industry is the difference most agents need. You can apply this savings to marketing or other efforts to give you the advantage you need!
This program also includes all the maintenance for the printers meaning you don’t have to pay hundreds of more dollars a year to have a technician go onsite to fix your printer. If you are interested in signing up for this program, you should call Jesse Harwell at 720.280.8426 immediately or go to www.laserprintercenter.com and start by looking at the Xerox 8560 printer.
