Has Your Business Opportunity Let You Down?
More and more people are reporting that they have spent
substantial amounts of money for an online business and
received far too little in return.
Has that been your experience?
I’ve been there. Like you, I’ve spent countless hours -
often in the middle of the night (my boss *loved* the
bags under my eyes the next day!) looking for the right
business.
Perhaps like you, I found several that looked and
sounded good enough for me to plunk down my hard earned
cash.
And it WAS hard earned! You know what I mean.
And then it happened — that deafening sound of…
nothing!
That’s right - I got NOTHING real for my money. Oh
sure, I could access some website and read until my
eyes fell out of my head.
Or I could get on the company “conference call” and
listen in while other sheep got sheared.
But when it came to real help or real products …
NOTHING.
I began to wonder “Are others losing their money and
getting discouraged too?”
So I visited forums, blogs and other online meeting
places to find out.
It didn’t take long to discover that others were losing
their hard earned money, and becoming discouraged that
the Internet was one big scam waiting to attack their
Visa.
And that is the exact moment I decided to create my
Business Opportunity Credibility Checklist.
And I give it to you today … FREE!
The checklist below contains five items that ANY
business you evaluate MUST have before you move
forward.
If any one is missing, my advice is to run - not walk -
away from that business. Or you could get hurt again.
—> PRINCIPLE 1 - A Product People Want
It doesn’t matter how slick the sales letter is, how
crisp the audio sounds or how compelling the lead
capture page looks … you must sell what people want
to buy.
So, what do people want? They want the same things you
want. Time with their family. The chance to make more
money and work for themselves. They want to travel.
If you watch the ads on television you will see what
people want … to look good, to feel good, to be free.
So, make sure above all your company offers something
that people want.
—> PRINCIPLE 2 - A *Proven* System Of Marketing
This may sound radical, but when it comes to marketing
your new product you really shouldn’t care too much
about the methods.
* But you should care a GREAT deal about the results! *
Make them share with you the results they have
achieved. Listen to the people who provide
testimonials. Read what they have to say. Call them if
you can.
But not matter what else happens, you must know that
the company knows their stuff when it comes to
marketing online!
—> PRINCIPLE 3 - Tools To Help You Succeed
You are going to need tools. Even with a proven
marketing system you will still need to make decisions.
Your primary job will be to place ads, so you must make
sure *they* provide tested and proven ads for you to
use. They should also suggest where you can advertise.
Before you join any business, get a sense of what is
required of you and then ask if they can help.
If they say yes, move forward. If they balk, you should
balk too.
—> PRINCIPLE 4 - The Right Compensation Package
All of that above is meaningless if you’re not making
enough money. This is your business, after all, and it
must be thought of as a business.
The key here is to realize that no business makes 20 or
50 or 100 sales a day. So you need to make sure that
when sales do happen you are properly compensated.
So, how much is enough? Only you can decide. But my
guidelines have always been that I want to make
hundreds of dollars per sale, not $10 per sale.
Things to look for are considerations like “pass up”
sales, how quickly do you get paid, how often do you
get paid, and how much do you get paid.
Be sure to get those questions answered up front to
avoid surprises.
—> PRINCIPLE 5 - The Human Touch
I’ve saved the best for last. This might be the most
important.
You must realize that everyone online can write a great
sales letter or hire a writer to write one.
So you must speak with a human. A person who asked the
same questions you have and decided to move ahead. Why
did they do that? Has it been what they thought it
would be? Better or worse?
These questions and more must be asked and answered
well. Only then can you move ahead.
Be sure too that you can call this person back if you
have further questions. Don’t settle for some sales
pitch or pre-recorded question and answer session. Go
for getting *your* questions answered, and answered
well.
There you have my Business Opportunity Credibility
Checklist. I want to encourage you about the journey
you are undertaking by saying this …
There ARE wonderful businesses out there that really
can change your life. You do not need an advanced
degree, special skills or big amounts of money to get
started.
But you do need to find the right business for YOU, and
my checklist will help you do just that.
I hope you enjoy it and wish you the best.
